Welcome the "The Last Laugh" |
|
|
Well the screening went very well and we had about 60 people
either come by or stay for the premiere. It couldn't have
gone better. I have many people to thank and would love to
list them all now, but I will leave it with THANK YOU ALL!!
Keep looking for more updates about the film. It may be
available for purchase soon and maybe even a longer version of
the film is in the works. |

“The Last Laugh” premiere is scheduled for Monday, November
28th, 2005 at 6pm. It will take place at the Griffen Theater on
Lynde Street in Salem, MA across from the Witch Dungeon. I will
be asking $3.00 at the door for cost of the theater
rental. I welcome all who have heard about and support the film.
I want to thank you all for your consideration. |

This film is about Mike Cali: a successful Stand-Up comedian on
the edge of a career breakout . He soon encounters a few
problems between himself and Stephanie, his girlfriend of three
years. With Mike's career moving fast and with him spending most
of his time and energy for it, Stephanie soon realizes, their
relationship is in jeopardy. Mike's best friend and co-stand-up
Paul Lee tries to advise him about his shortcomings when it
comes to relationships.
Through the story, you'll meet funny and interesting characters,
join in the excitement of a life of an entertainer and feel the
peaks and pitfalls of relationships. |

My thanks go out to all who were involved in our shoot at Giggles Comedy
Club at the Prince Restaurant on Route 1 Saugus, MA.
Not only did I raise enough money to pay for the shoot, but we
got some great footage.
The audiences reactions and footage of the
comic's act will make for a perfect opening scene in the film |
|
|
The rough cut of the film is finished and now being scored by
Chris Smith, a very talented musician and composer. The
DVD will soon be completed and ready for distribution. |
|
|
The Trailer for The Last Laugh is up and running. Be sure
to check it out. Also it will also featured in the Aisle 5
short film festival on August 27th. |
